My story

Meet Mel! Mel is a mysterious little shadow with a flair for the dramatic and a soft spot for tuna tube treats! This sleek black kitten may still be learning that humans can be friends, not foes—but behind those wide eyes is a curious spirit just waiting for the right person to help her blossom. Mel isn’t one for cuddles (yet!) and prefers to keep her distance, but with time, patience, and lots of yummy bribes, she just might surprise you. If you’ve got a calm home, a gentle heart, and a love for underdogs (or undercats!), Mel could be your next quiet triumph. Mel is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all of her vaccinations. You can meet her at the CASPCA between the hours of 12 and 6 PM daily, no appointment necessary. If you have any additional questions, please email adoptions@caspca.org.
