My story

Hi, I’m Reba! I’m a 3-year-old, 70-pound gal with the most adorable ears you’ve ever seen—seriously, they could have their own fan club. I recently went on a Doggy Day Out adventure, and my foster buddy says I was a total star passenger in the car. I even took a nice nap on the way back.I walk well on leash (unless a squirrel dares to cross my path…then, well, we need to discuss strategy), and I love playing fetch. Once I settled in, I was comfy enough to roll over, show off my belly, and snooze on my back like I owned the place.I’m still getting to know the world, so we’re not sure yet how I feel about other dogs, cats, or kids—but I’m excited to find out! The best way to see if we’re meant to be is to come meet me in person. See you soon!~~~~~The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon to 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our adoptable animals at any time during open hours.In addition to our main shelter at 1855 SE Inner Loop, Georgetown, TX 78626, you can also meet adoptable dogs at our satellite location, the Red Poppy Adoptique, located at 110 W L Walden Dr, Georgetown, TX 78626.Interested in fostering a dog in need? Join our foster team at www.wilcotx.gov/390/Fostering and click on “Foster Questionnaire.”Looking for a fun way to make a difference? Try our Doggy Day Out program! Take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours—giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. The program runs at both locations daily starting at noon.We always welcome your dogs to come and meet our dogs, too! We’ll see you soon at either location!
