My story

Jackie Pooper (AKA Jackie Cooper) might look like an Al dog, but his story is heartbreakingly real. He was found abandoned in a cage in Leimert Park, Los Angeles. He had been left out in the scorching sun with no food or water. Sunburned and alone, it was clear he had been left behind and forgotten. Thankfully, a kind-hearted rescuer took him in. They posted online, but sadly nobody came forward. Today, Jackie is a whole new dog. At about 1.5 years old, this Jack Russell mix is full of life, love, and non-stop tail wags. He’s active, playful, outgoing, and has an unstoppable goofy charm. He loves to run and explore, make new dog friends, and spend time with humans. He is a cuddler too! After everything he’s been through, Jackie has shown amazing resilience. He’s still sweet, silly, and ready to share all the love he has to give. Jackie is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
