My story

This dashing little gentleman is ready to find his forever home! Reeves came to us through no fault of his own, and now he`s hoping to become the newest, most loyal member of your family. Reeves is a bit shy at first-new people and new experiences can be a little overwhelming for him, but with patience and a gentle approach, he’s starting to show his sweet and affectionate side. Once he trusts you, you’ll see just how special he really is! Because Reeves thrives in a calm and predictable environment, we’re asking that any children in the home be 14 years or older. To ensure a great fit, we also require that everyone in the household meets him before adoption, including any resident dogs, he prefers slow introductions with both people and pets. Reeves has shown some resource guarding around food in his previous home, so he’ll need a family that can be understanding and willing to work with him on this behavior using positive reinforcement and patience. If you’re ready to open your heart to a loving, sensitive pup who just needs a little extra time to shine, Reeves may be the perfect match for you.
