My story

Location: Kettering, OH Food: N&D Ocean Medication: Daily eye drops, currently 2x daily; soon will be 1x daily and current recommendation is 1x for life and monthly flea/tick/heart worm prevention Let me introduce everyone to the cutest little fluff ball anywhere, Swae, Swae is one month shy of 3 years old and is a fluffy Frenchie who was a breeder surrender because she had glaucoma in her right eye and the breeder didn't want to have to pay for her eye to be removed. Well, the jokes on the greedy breeder because we took Swae to the Animal Eye Specialist in Cincinnati and they gave her eyes a thorough examination and determined the pressure in both eyes is normal, shes not in any pain, the eye does not need to be removed and the cloudiness that was once there is almost gone thanks to our eye docs and the eye drops they prescribed. And let me tell you, this sweet girl is an all star champ getting her eye drops! You'd think she was winning a major award every time we call her over to put them in! So enough about the "downside" to Swae, which btw, that's literally the ONLY downside to this precious girl because she is so very perfect! Shes so petite, round and super soft and fluffy- she truly feels like a bunny and runs like one too. She gets along great with my 2 resident dogs, one who's not so easy to get along with but Swae just moves on if he's in a cranky mood. She will make you laugh so hard when she plays with her foster brothers and they can play on and off much of the day with serious naps in between. She is crate trained and loves to sleep in her crate at night, but during the day she has fully earned the reward of being able to roam in the house with her foster brothers if we're not here because she doesn't have a destructive bone in her little body. She loves to be close to one of us when we're around, which theres usually one person here throughout the day, but she's not an annoying Velcro dog; you just look over and notice she's there and that feels pretty awesome. She's great in the car. She's great on the leash, although our walks have been pretty short due to the heat and her sweet little legs don't move too fast. She is a certified class A cuddler like no other, and snuggling with this fluffy furball is is the gift that keeps on giving! And just wait until you walk through the door- she throws you a "Welcome Home" party everytime, even if you just went out to get the mail. She LOVES her foster humans and everyone she comes in contact with. If you like to shop, she is the perfect companion to hit the mall in a stroller or wherever you want to go. She's a dream girl for sure!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Swae, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
