My story

Looking for a kitten who’s equal parts loving, lovely and a little bit sassy? Meet Onion Ring, a darling tabby girl with eye-catching white markings and a heart as warm as her name is fun! She came to us in mid-June with her snack-pack siblings—Tater Tot, Mozzarella Stick, French Fry, and Chicken Nugget and spent her early kittenhood in a nurturing foster home where she learned just how wonderful life with a family can be. Onion Ring is friendly and affectionate, always eager for snuggles or a gentle head boop. Her playful curiosity and calm nature make her a great match for many kinds of homes—whether she’s your one-and-only or joining a house with other pets. While she doesn’t need to be adopted with one of her siblings, we hope adopters will appreciate the sweet bond they share. Onion Ring is ready to find her forever home. Could it be yours? Come meet this irresistible little lady today! The shelter is open Tuesdays through Fridays 3:30-6:30pm AND Saturdays & Sundays 1pm-4pm. No appointments are needed during those times.
