How this pet arrived: Nova was brought in by their previous owner. Why Nova might be the one for you:Nova is a big dog who is very smart. She is in a foster home and her new foster mom said the she could literally see Nova trying to figure out the house rules and learn the routine. Her foster says that Nova is completely fine in the house and is house trained. She enjoys their big yard and does not even mind the obnoxious dog next door who barks at Nova through the fence. Given that she is a big dog and not totally trained to walk loose leashed, she will benefit from a strong dog savvy owner who can continue her leash walking training. Training Nova is easy because she is food motivated. Give her a treat for doing what you want and she will remember and repeat. She is affectionate, wanting pets and attention. If she is not getting them, she will gently remind you that she wants some loving. Nova is a good dog who needs a few rough edges smoothed out to be someone's friendly, popular and loving household pet. Could you be that someone? At SDHS:This pet has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed neutered. This pet is now ready for their new home! Primary Color: Tan Secondary Color: Black Weight: 82 Age: 10yrs 2mths 0wks
