Meet Dusty – A Gentle, Resilient Senior Looking for Love 🐾 Breed: Bichon Frise 🎂 Age: ~12 years ⚖️ Weight: 22 lbs (could benefit from a little weight loss) 🏥 Neutered, fully vetted, on pain management Dusty is a sweet senior Bichon who’s looking for a calm, loving home to enjoy his golden years. At around 12 years old, he has already known love — sadly, his previous adopter had to return him due to their own declining health. Now Dusty is waiting for someone who can give him the peace, patience, and affection he deserves. Dusty is: 🧡 Completely deaf and blind, but brave and adaptable 🚪 Potty trained – he patiently waits by the door when he needs to go out 🐶 Friendly with other dogs 🦴 Living with some pain but manageable with medication Despite his lack of sight and hearing, Dusty adapts well to his surroundings and finds comfort in routine. He can’t do stairs right now, but with pain management, the vet believes he may regain some that ability. He’s scheduled to be groomed soon — under all that fluff is a real charmer. The vet describes him as a very sweet dog who, with proper care, can enjoy a good quality of life. Dusty isn’t asking for much — a warm bed, a little help navigating the world, and someone who sees the beauty in giving an old soul a safe, soft place to land.
