My story

Location: Richfield, MN I’m Yeti! Unbelievably adorable pug-poodle-ewok mix, so eager to be loved. I’m the perfect blend of restful calm and playful chaos. I like to play fetch and wrestle with you. I also like to chew on toys and play by myself. I’ll follow you around the house but won’t demand constant attention. I enjoy long walks in the park and being around other dogs, but what I crave the most is to be with you. I get anxious in a kennel and prefer to eat in the kitchen and sleep in bed with you. The only time I make much noise at all is when you leave me by myself. I’m almost house trained, I walk nicely on a leash, and I’m learning to sit, stay, and come. I get along with other dogs, cats, and people. Sometimes I’m a little hesitant with new people, but not much. I'm good at reading your mood- I’m chill when you’re chill, excited when you’re excited. I know how to behave so you can trust me, the exception being a stinky shoe. I just can’t resist dragging one up on the couch or hiding it in another room. I like to cuddle and get gentle belly rubs and kisses; I like to give gentle little kisses. I never stray far from you because I like you and we were meant to be together. My people are the most important thing in my life! I will be at my best in a home where I can always, or almost always, be with you. I get very anxious when I’m left alone. I don’t mind car rides, so I’d love to go all the places you go. The perfect fit for me would be people who work from home, could bring me to work, or who are retired. Even a family with bigger kids I can hang out with when mom or dad is at work. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
