My story

Meet Lox 🐾💛Lox is a 9-month-old Labrador Retriever mix who was owner released and is now waiting for the perfect family to take him home. He does wonderfully with his kennel mate, but we aren’t sure yet how he feels about cats or kids. We also don’t know if he’s house or crate trained—but at his age, he’s ready to learn!Lox is full of energy, personality, and love. He’s the sweetest boy with a heart as big as his smile. Somehow, he’s been here for 71 days, and we can’t figure out why—he’s so affectionate and just wants all the love you can give.He is HEART WORM NEGATIVE, UP TO DATE on vaccinations, and weighs 42 pounds. If you’re looking for a fun, loving companion with plenty of life to share, Lox is your guy. Our contact number is 270-887-4175. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30-4 and is closed daily for lunch from 12:30-1. Adoptions are done on a first come first serve basis for owner releases. Strays have a wait list.
