My story

** PLEASE EMAIL questions, please DO NOT call. We are a volunteer based group and are unable to handle the call volume. WE HOLD ADOPTIONS ON SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS FROM 10-4 PM at our Adoption Center. Our adoption center is located next to CAL Ranch at 232 North Jones (I-95) Suite 170. NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY, just walk right in. Pappy is just a little over 12 yrs old and weighs about 17 lbs. Unfortunately, he found himself at a local a shelter as a stray so we have no back history, more will be known about me soon. Pappy is a sweet, mellow senior who’s ready to spend his golden years in a loving, peaceful home. Found as a stray, this gentleman has a heart full of love & a gentle spirit that wins over everyone he meets. Though he may be a bit shy at first, Pappy warms up quickly with a little patience and gentle encouragement. His mellow nature makes him the perfect companion for anyone looking for a calm, loving presence at home. Whether it's a slow stroll in the yard or curling up for a cozy nap, Pappy is content simply being near his people The shelter did bloodwork, chest x-rays and completed a dental for him. He was SO LUCKY to find a foster home, where he is catching up on his sleep, this poor guy is so exhausted from the shelter life. He is good with the fosters senior small dogs and so far is tested to be housebroken in the home. He also seems fonder of the males in the home so most likely had a male owner who dotted on him. He stepped into the foster home, took a look around and found the comfiest bed and made himself at home. A Path 4 Paws holds adoption events at our Adoptions Center, located at 232 N. Jones Blvd, Suite 170 right next to CAL Ranch (North Jones/ I-95). Please bring your dog(s) for a meet and greet (if applicable) Please bring your entire family so everyone can meet. If you are interested in Pappy, please contact dogrescuelv@hotmail.com to confirm the dog you are interested in, will be attending that particular event. We have limited space at the store, therefore we can not take every dog out to the event. This pet comes with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org . This benefit includes free access to Petcademy's team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle Pappy into your home. You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy and they'll respond within 24 hours, Monday-Friday. This pet is spayed/neutered, has current vaccinations and includes a microchip, deworming and 2 free vet visits, including a Healthy Start Certificate with the VCA Hospitals with a $250 health credit (restrictions apply). Adoption fee applies. Please make sure you have read the information listed on the homepage for requirements and restrictions. Foster homes & volunteers are always needed.
