My story

Meet Hermes, a 2-year-old gentle soul who`s looking for a patient and understanding companion. From our observations, Hermes tends to be a bit shy and reserved, especially when meeting new people. He seems to prefer a calm and quiet environment, and has shown to be more comfortable around other gentle dogs. While Hermes may take some time to warm up, our volunteers have noticed that he allows greetings from other dogs and appears to do well in the company of similarly laid-back canines. With some patience and gentle encouragement, Hermes could blossom into a wonderful, loving pet. Come meet Hermes today!Hermes is at risk for euthanasia due to the current shelter capacity. Currently the shelter is above capacity to adequately house and care for animals. Hermes is showing signs of fear, anxiety, stress and would benefit from individualized attention with a foster, adopter or rescue partner.
