My story

This beauty is Priya! She was surrendered to the shelter on 7/31 along with her bestie, Prosper, because their family could no longer afford to care for them. Their family did mention that both dogs are house trained and dog friendly. The volunteers describe Priya as very friendly and snuggly; she thinks she's lap dog! Priya also knows several commands including sit and lay down. If you have room in your heart and home for Priya (and maybe her bestie too), please come meet her today! Priya is 2 years old and weighs 64 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines, has been microchipped and spayed, and did test negative for heartworms. Priya is waiting patiently in kennel 90; her ID # is 12385. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
