My story

Aya (aka Sharon), mama to the Ozzy Osbourne litter, is ready for her forever home! Aya is a petite 3-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier who was surrendered with her puppies after her owner could no longer care for her (she was very well loved). She currently weighs 37 lbs., but she needs to put a few extra pounds on her slim frame. Aya is curious, protective, and affectionate. She’s suspicious of strangers, but with a little time she warms up, transforming into an absolute cuddlebug, butt-wiggle-monster! Aya is crate-trained, house-broken, and even knows how to use pee pads. She has lots of playful energy and loves going on walks, sunbathing, and playing with stuffed animals. Aya is purportedly awesome around children. Although Aya gets along with other large dogs, she doesn’t like other dogs being near her food and therefore shouldn’t share a home with other dogs.
