My story

Animal Profile: Meet Georgie! Georgie was found as a stray in a city park and rescued by our  incredible rescue partner Saving Shelter Strays. He has spent the past few weeks in a loving TX foster home and is healthy and thriving. He's well socialized and eager to learn. They are ready for their bus ride to WA! Foster Update: Georgie is a sweet, smart, and incredibly lovable pup who’s ready to steal your heart. He’s full of playful energy during the day and loves to snuggle up with his person at night. This clever boy is crate trained and sleeps soundly through the night. He’s picking up basic commands quickly, especially when treats are involved (he’s very food motivated!). Georgie doesn't know what a stranger is—he adores every person and dog he encounters. He’s still working on mastering his house manners and basic training, so he’ll thrive with a family who can continue guiding him with patience and consistency. He’d be a great match for a home with another playful dog or as a solo pup in an active, attentive household. If you're looking for a loving companion with lots of potential, Georgie might be your perfect match! Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip, negative heartworm test if over 6 months, and health certificate. Your donation may be tax deductible as DG is a 501c3 organization.
