My story

Location: Houston, TX DOB: 5/23/24 (Estimate) Hello!! My name is Megatron but since I’m deaf, you can call me whatever you’d like! I am a little over a year old. I’ve been living in Houston, Texas with my foster family for the last few months and am learning a bunch of things from them. Since I’m deaf, I’m rather skittish outside my normal environment. I enjoy short walks in areas that are familiar. I wear boots on my feet cuz I will drag my toes on long walks and it doesn’t feel good by the end, but I do great in my boots!! If I have my way though, I really am a home body and just go outside to do my business and come back in. I love being in my house with my people. I bark at new people but I calm down after a while especially if my foster dad or mom sits with me and gives me reassuring pets. I have learned all kinds of new things while here with my foster family. I’ve learned some basic hand signs. I know sit, down and stay. I have a hard time with staying though. I want to be at your side to offer my “assistance” in anything you’re doing. If it was up to me, my forever family would have a work from home or stay at home person. That being said, when left alone I do pretty well, but I don’t like being crated!! I much rather flop on my bed and snooze in weird positions, kind of like a cat. I love my bones. I have collected a bunch of them while here. Everything from Nyla Bones, rings, knuckle bones. Pretty much every type of bone is my friend. I’ve been known to sneak remotes, but maybe because they look like bones to me? I also like to toss around stuffies! ‘Cause that’s fun to do! As for other animals in the house, I haven’t been around a cat but there is a small animal called a ferret I sniffed a few times and thought it was weird and walked away. I love my foster siblings!! The two old ones just keep me company when we’re all napping, but the younger one will run with me in the back yard when I get the zoomies. She’s always ready to play, which I love!! I’m a smaller than an average Great Dane. But the best things come in small packages. I don’t think I’ll get much bigger or heavier than about 100 lbs. I’m still a bit of an awkward teenager, I’m incredibly loving and adorable!! Please adopt me!! Adoption Application: https://forms.gle/G2dJx2NV4JXZcZ9F6
