My story

Hi there, future best friend! My name is Patches Powell (or whatever cute name you want to give me, I’ll learn it fast!). I was born around May 2025 and came to CAMO Rescue with my siblings from the Cleveland Pound. Life started out a little ruff for us. We were wormy, skinny, scruffy, and feeling pretty crummy. But the amazing people at CAMO gave us love, food, meds and warm beds… and now I feel like a brand-new pup! I’m a mixed breed with mystery parents, but that just makes me extra special, right? The humans say I’ll probably grow to be a perfect medium-sized dog, which sounds just right for couch cuddles and backyard zoomies. I’ve learned that toys are fun, belly rubs are the best, and humans can be really awesome. I’m sweet, snuggly, playful, and ready to find the forever family I’ve been dreaming about since I opened my puppy eyes. Because I am still so young, my future family will have to agree to a spay/neuter contract. My surgery is covered in the adoption fee and I will need to get to a CAMO approved vet when I am old enough. Adoption fee is: $375 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022
