My story

Meet Abena! As you can see from the photos, her ears have a personality all their own. She’s a middle-aged sweetheart who’s calm, gentle, and loves meeting new people. She rides well in the car, walks easily on leash, and quickly makes herself at home. The most important thing to know about her is that she’s a quiet, affectionate companion who’s happiest just being in the same room with you—bonus points if there’s a fan for her to nap in front of.All adoptable pets are spayed/neutered (or scheduled), vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to go home today! No pre-application or appointment needed—just bring a valid ID and walk in. Our adoption fees are among the lowest in Cincinnati!To meet our animals, visit our Northside shelters any day from 1–6pm. If listed as foster, email foster@cincycare.org to schedule a meet and greet. Adopting an adult dog with resident dogs or kids at home?
