Meet Harley: A Loyal Little Couch Potato in Search of Love🥔💛Harley is a 6-year-old Chihuahua (and maybe Pomeranian?) mix that makes him look like a little potato with legs! We may not be sure about the Pomeranian part, but he definitely inherited the classic Chihuahua spirit—fiercely loyal, deeply affectionate with his people, and always on high alert to keep his loved ones safe.Despite adjusting as best he can at the shelter, there’s a quiet sadness in Harley’s big brown eyes. He watches every face that walks by, holding onto hope that one of them might be the person he once loved... or the new human he’s meant to love next. ❤️Harley is a lap dog through and through. He’s looking for a calm home where he can curl up with you on the couch, accept snacks with great enthusiasm, and enjoy the good life with someone who understands small-dog loyalty. He’s very treat motivated—honestly, food is his love language—so he’d benefit from a little portion control and a bit of movement (he’s not opposed to a leisurely stroll or two).He was potty trained in his former home, but like any dog in a new environment, he’ll need a gentle refresher and a little patience while he gets into the swing of a new routine.We’re not yet sure how Harley does with other dogs, so any potential dog siblings will need to come for a meet and greet.💻 Apply at www.effinghamcountyhumanesociety.orgHarley is ready to give his whole heart to someone who will treasure him forever. 🐾
