Meet Aggie! Whoop Whoop! This playful, affectionate boy is a total lap dog with a big personality and even bigger heart. He's full of energy, loves to give kisses, begs for treats, and licks just about everything in sight!Aggie thrives on attention and can be a little needy, so he’s happiest when he’s right by your side! When he isn't stuck to you like glue, you can find him sniffing around the room looking for a snack. He loves to play, especially with his younger doggy brother, and fetch is his favorite game… but only if you cheer him on like he just scored a touchdown at Kyle Field! He’s crate trained, which helps with the occasional accident when he gets upset. He’s not a fan of having his paws touched and doesn’t exactly enjoy vet visits—but who does? Aggie is great with dogs, cats, and kids, making him a fantastic companion for a variety of homes.Special Care Needs:Aggie has mast cell disease, but it is easy to take care of! Aggie takes ½ a Benadryl tablet at lunch and dinner. He’s also on a special kidney-support diet due to crystals found in his urine. He’s never had kidney stones, but this food helps prevent them!If you're looking for a 12th Man to be your loyal sidekick, Aggie is your guy!To have your home considered for adoption, read about our adoption process or fees, and find out about interstate transport (dogs only), please visit our website.https://longwayhome.org/apply ❤ Long Way Home makes no guarantees on breed--most animals we receive from shelters are mixed breeds. As long as they need rescue, that's what is most important to us.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Aggie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
