My name is Arizona! Meet Arizona With her glossy black and tan coat, expressive ears, and easy smile, Arizona is as stunning as the desert sunsets she is named after. At 2 years old and 46 pounds, she has that laid-back, can-do-anything, jack-of-all-trades vibe that makes her a natural fit in almost any home. Energy and Personality Arizona has a calm, friendly demeanor paired with just the right amount of playfulness. She is the kind of dog who can be your hiking buddy one day and your couch companion the next. She adapts easily to new situations and carries herself with a quiet confidence that draws people in. Training and Behavior This smart girl is eager to please and responds well to gentle guidance. She is past the puppy stage but still young enough to learn new tricks and enjoy active play. Her well-mannered approach makes her a pleasure to have around. Social Life Arizona’s story began as a mama dog caring for her three puppies. A kind neighbor found them and brought them to the shelter, where two puppies were adopted locally. Arizona and her last pup, OPH Shiloh, were lucky enough to catch a ride north to begin their new lives. She is friendly with people and would likely enjoy the company of other dogs after proper introductions. Quirks and Special Traits Her ears alone could win awards for expressiveness, and her smile lights up the room. Arizona’s relaxed charm and adaptable nature make her a dog you can take anywhere - and she will look good doing it. Best Home Fit Arizona would be a wonderful match for a variety of families, from active households to quieter homes seeking a loyal companion. She will thrive with adopters who offer love, engagement, and the occasional adventure. Veterinary Care Arizona has visited the veterinarian for a health certificate, is up to date on vaccinations for her age, is spayed, and is microchipped. She is on heartworm preventative, flea and tick preventative, and has received worm and parasite treatments.
