My story

Baby Ruth is a sweet and snuggly 1-year-old Shepherd mix with the most adorable tan and white coat. She’s a total lovebug who ends every day curled up on the couch with her people, soaking up all the cuddles she can get. Baby Ruth is crate trained, sleeps peacefully through the night, and will happily do just about anything for a tasty treat. She gets along well with other dogs and, while she may not be besties with the cat, she’s content to tolerate their company. Daily walks are one of her favorite activities—she loves exploring the neighborhood and getting some fresh air. With her gentle spirit, loving nature, and good manners, Baby Ruth is ready to be someone’s best friend for life! All of our dogs and puppies go home spayed or neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested (for dogs 7 months and older). They are also up to date on core vaccines, as well as heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Each adoption includes a 3.5-pound bag of dog or puppy food and a free vet exam at one of our participating veterinary partners.
