Scotty

My story

Scotty is a friendly, loving, talkative young cat. (Not up for middle of the night zoomies, an agile cat who can jump on anything? Look for a somewhat older cat.) Scotty is a real sweetheart with gorgeous amber eyes. He has a tendency to give “love bites” and sometimes they can be a little too much, so we are not recommending him for homes with any children under 10 years of age. He talks to us a lot at the lounge and that could continue at home or might settle down once he feels truly at home. He is learning to get along with the other lounge cats but he does sometimes initiate chasing with cats who don’t want to be chased and he doesn’t take no for an answer. He’s got a lot of youthful energy! We’d like to adopt him with his sister Dotty. He chases her too but she stands up to him. They get along fine for the most part but once in a while need a time out from each other. Scotty might be fine as an only cat but he’ll need a lot of attention and playtime. We do not want to send him home to an unknown cat as we can’t vouch for his ability to make new friends with a new cat. We’ve seen at the lounge that he can get along with some cats but not all cats.
