My story

Meet Zoey! 💗Zoey is a beautiful 1-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix with a heart full of potential. She was originally found as a stray and, after being adopted, has now found her way back to us—waiting patiently for her true forever home.Though we don’t know much about her past (and her previous owners didn’t leave us with many details), what we do know is that Zoey is a sweet girl who does well with kids and is crate trained. She also gets along nicely with her current kennel mate, which gives us hope she may do well with other dogs in the right environment.Zoey is a petite pup, weighing just 23 pounds. She’s heartworm negative, fully vaccinated, and ready to meet her perfect match. We’re not sure yet if she’s housetrained or how she does with other pets, but we always welcome meet-and-greets or trial adoptions to help make the best match possible.If you’re ready to give a second chance to a loving, young dog who’s still learning about the world, Zoey would love to meet you. She’s ready whenever you are! 🐶❤️Zoey's Adoption fee is $77.50 plus taxDogs are $115 and puppies are $110 unless otherwise noted. All cats and kittens are $75.00 unless otherwise noted. Our system automatically updates adoptable websites every two hours. Feel free to email or call us with any questions you may have. Our contact number is 270-887-4175. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30-4 and is closed daily for lunch from 12:30-1. Adoptions are done on a first come first serve basis for owner releases. Strays have a wait list.
