My story

Hello, my name is Emmett and I'm a young male dog with lots of love to give! I am friendly and good with other dogs my age, and I'm sure that I can find a way to make new doggy friends no matter my circumstances. I am a very curious, playful, and smart dog who loves to explore and use my brain. My favorite activities include playing, snuggling, and going on walks. I'm a very good boy who is house-trained if taken out often and am learning basic commands like "sit" and "stay". My dream home is a place where I can get lots of attention, play time, and snuggles - that's my idea of the good life! I can't wait to find my forever home and have a family to call my very own. Please complete and return to us for review!  Adopter for this dog must reside in the immediate Houston/Galveston area and be at least 25 years old. A home visit may be required prior to this dog going to any home. The adoption fee for a dog is $190 (or $245 for puppies). All dogs are microchipped, on heartworm protection, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed and treated for fleas. Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Clear Lake Petco, 2410 Bay Area Boulevard.  Since all our dogs are in foster homes, an individual dog may not be at our weekly Adoption Event due to conflict with a foster's schedule. If you are interested in meeting a particular dog, please send an email to scpdogworld@gmail.com so that the Dog Coordinator can let you know if the dog will be at the Saturday Adoption Event at Petco.
