Meet Mater! 🚚Mater is a friendly, laidback guy who came to us as a stray. Despite his uncertain past, he's proven to be a sweet and affectionate companion who enjoys attention and gentle company. He has a calm nature and seems to take things in stride, making him a great fit for many types of homes. He shows his affection in the best way - with a solid head butt to let you know he cares. 💛Mater is FIV-positive, which means he has a weakened immune system, but with regular vet care and a low-stress indoor lifestyle, he can live a long, happy life. He's a resilient and loving cat who just needs a family willing to give him the chance he deserves.Do you think you could be Mater's person? Here are some ways to find out: 1.Visit our centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Wednesday noon to 3pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or 2.Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.
