My story

Are you looking for your next adventure buddy? Onyx is a 2-year-old retriever mix with a gorgeous red coat and a personality as vibrant as her fur. This mid-to-high energy girl is equal parts goofy and independent, making her the perfect partner for anyone who loves to get out and explore. She’s a natural athlete who’s happiest when she’s on the move—whether that’s showing off her parkour skills, joining in on sports activities, or chasing after a ball in the yard. Onyx is a social butterfly who loves other dogs and has truly never met a stranger, greeting everyone she meets with a wagging tail and a sparkle in her eye. She warms up quickly, is eager to learn, and is currently working on her leash and potty training with great enthusiasm. Heartworm negative, up to date on all vaccines, and microchipped, Onyx is ready to leave shelter life behind and become a beloved, permanent part of her new family.
