JJ (Joker/Hiz)

My story

This sweet angel is named JJ (Joker). He and his 5 siblings came from Austin Tx back in May in hopes of a better life with a loving family. Everyone got adopted, but recently JJ and his new fur sister were not getting along. You see, JJ likes to protect his food and toys and his sister didn't listen to his warnings, so they got into a couple of scuffles. This can be remedied by feeding him separately and working with him via correction when he tries to guard toys. You can also try putting toys away when play time is over. He can sit with other dogs to take treats and waits his turn. He just needs someone to work with him on the toy issue and continue to train him.  He is shy with new people, but will come around as he gets to know you! He would be fine as an only dog, but continued play dates/socialization is a must. This boy is as sweet and cuddly as can be with his humans and likes to play with other dogs as well. He is trained well and knows "kennel" as a command and will settle in the kennel. He occasionally had accidents in the home if he couldn't get out in time. He has been around stranger dogs in passing and he stays away from them and hides. He is affectionate with people and will follow his owner around everywhere.
