My story

Boz | 1.5-years-old | 70lbs Howdy, my name is Boz, and I arrived at K9s For Warriors in January of 2025, after passing my initial test with flying colors! I am a lovable goofball with energy to spare and a heart full of enthusiasm. I absolutely love to play, especially when toys, treats, or a good water hose are involved. If there’s fun to be had, you can count me in! I’m curious and eager to learn, especially when you cheer me on with positive reinforcement (and maybe a few snacks). I’m still working on crate training and some basic manners, but with a little patience and encouragement, I know I’ll get there. I just need someone who believes in me and gives me the time I need to grow. Sometimes I get a bit overwhelmed by new or unexpected things—loud noises, sudden movements—but I do best in calm, steady environments where I can build confidence at my own pace. I enjoy being around other dogs, though I’m still learning the ropes when it comes to polite play. My excitement sometimes gets ahead of me, but I’m working hard to master being a proper and polite pup!
