My story

If you want an extremely sweet, uncomplicated dog who is just delightful, look no further than Luka. We find this even more surprising as he has lived through a horrendous trauma. Whomever adopts this little 8 lb, 4 year old Cairn Terrier Mix will have a treasure. Like many terriers he has a charming sense of humor and is a lot of fun. Luka is housebroken and walks well on a leash, though can be agitated when he sees another dog. Luka calmly enjoys car rides, sleeps beautifully through the night and is not a big, yappy barker, which his Foster Mom really appreciates. (well he will make an exception when he sees a squirrel in the yard!) His tail never stops wagging! He gets on with cats and most dogs in the house. We feel he would be ok in a home with children 11 years and older who understand that while he is cute as a button and looks like a toy, he is not a toy.
