My story

Laura is at our Everyday Adoption Center (1101 S Canal St). You can visit our Everyday Adoption Center at any time during open hours, no appointment needed. Fill out our quick adoption survey on our website before visiting to streamline the process. Laura is: Spayed: Yes! Up to date on vaccines: Laura is still receiving the core puppy vaccine series and will need one additional vaccine after adoption to reach full immunization Microchipped: Yes! Our microchips will automatically register when an adoption is finalized More about Laura: Housebroken: Working on it! With a strict schedule and routine, she will catch on in no time Crate trained: Doing well overall after taking a short time to settle Leash walking: She can become frustrated/reactive when she sees other dogs on walks, and would benefit from continuing to work on this Dog social: She lives with a resident dog in her foster home and has been doing well overall, but is an exuberant player who is still learning to read and respond appropriately to other dogs' signals Cat social: Unknown Kid friendly: Unknown Laura likes: - Going for car rides - Using her brain and learning new things! - All the toys and treats! Laura is a playful, clever puppy who is full of curiosity and eager to learn. She's a very high energy dog, and benefits from getting lots of mental stimulation and physical exercise. She loves scent work, long walks, and fetch! When she gets really excited, she does a cute little spin/twirl. She's very smart and loves getting rewarded with treats and pets. Laura will do best with an adopter who is ready for all the stages that puppyhood and being an adolescent brings. OTAT requires that all dogs 6 months and under be enrolled in a positive reinforcement training program within 2 weeks of their adoption at their adopter's expense. Laura's adoption fee is $350, and this gorgeous pup is excited to grow up in her forever home!
