My story

Meet Charlie – the ultimate little buddy! This happy 5-year-old, 20-pound guy is the perfect mix of silly and sweet. Charlie came to us from the Central Valley after his family sadly lost their housing and could no longer keep him. Now neutered, fully vetted, and thriving in foster care, he’s ready to start his next chapter. Charlie is a unique low-rider with a long body, big blocky head, and a medium scruffy coat. Our best guess? Maybe a Corgi, Jack Russell, and Dachshund mix — but whatever he is, he’s 100% adorable. He’s dog-social, loves car rides, enjoys daily walks, and gets along great with everyone he meets. Charlie is food motivated, loves to sunbathe, and rolls around in the grass like a goofball. He’s doing well with house training and has an easygoing temperament that would make him a fantastic family dog. If you’re looking for a low-maintenance, medium-sized dog with a big personality and an even bigger heart, Charlie might just be your guy. Help us find this sweet boy his forever home! We do keep applications on file for 90days in case the dog you apply for it already adopted or not the right fit simply email us to forward your application on to another dog of interest. Our dogs are in foster homes all over the Bay Area and all adopters are required to travel to the foster home to meet. We do not have a facility. No meet and greet can happen until application is completed. Our Commitment to Our Dogs Every dog in our care receives comprehensive veterinary care, including: • Spay/Neuter surgery • Microchipping • DHPP vaccination • Flea treatment and deworming • Rabies vaccination • Any additional vet care as needed The adoption fee for this dog is $350 serving as a non-refundable donation to help cover vetting, transport, and care costs. Adoption fees may vary based on specific dog and needs.
