My story

Meet Aurora 5 months | Spayed female | 7kg (15.4 lbs) | 37cm (14.5 in) tall | Cocker Spaniel Mix Rescue Story Aurora was rescued from a city shelter and looking for a forever family to love and be loved by. Personality & Socialization With People She happily approaches both familiar faces and strangers, leaning in for pets and cuddles. She gets along well with men, women, and children alike. Once comfortable, she’s quick to roll over and show her belly. With Dogs Aurora is very sociable with other dogs. She eagerly greets both familiar and unfamiliar dogs, inviting them to play. She especially loves larger dogs and enjoys curling up next to them for naps. She plays well with puppies her own age, though her playful wrestling can occasionally lead to a yelp if she bumps someone too hard during their high-energy play. Aurora tends to feel more secure when other dogs are around and may whine when left alone. With Cats Aurora hasn’t been tested with cats yet, but this can be arranged if needed. Energy Level & Daily Life Aurora has a moderate energy level. She enjoys outdoor time but is equally content playing with toys, snuggling in blankets, or gently wrestling with her dog friends indoors. She’s more into cozy playtime than high-speed chases. Walking & Leash Skills Aurora currently freezes when taken outside and will need continued training and patience to build confidence on walks. Other Notes • No resource guarding toward humans or dogs. • May experience separation anxiety if left completely alone (without people or other dogs). • Rarely barks and is quiet in a kennel. • As a young puppy, she still enjoys teething, so providing her with chew toys will be beneficial. Ideal Home Aurora would thrive in a home with another friendly dog to keep her company. A patient family that can continue her leash training and help her grow into a confident, well-adjusted dog would be perfect. She’s a sweet, silly, and loving companion ready to share her big heart.
