Misty

My story

My name is Misty and I'm wishing for a new family and home to call my own. When I first arrived at the animal shelter, I was really scared. I didn't know the people and there were some unfamiliar dogs who seemed to make a lot of noise. But over the next several days, I started to realize that these people are nice and I can trust them. They feed me and clean my area. They also take me out on 2-4 walks every day. I am enjoying the walks, exploring the outdoors, but my favorite is when they pet me. Sometimes they pet my head and scratch my rump. That feels good. My absolute favorite is when I roll onto my back and they give be belly rubs. I'm hoping my new family will give me lots of belly rubs. I have also been enjoying playtime with some of the other dogs here. I've played with Scar (aka Furbee), Zeb, and Draco. They are all great dogs but Draco and I really have a blast together.
