At 7 years young and a perfectly manageable 30 pounds, Elvis, a Chihuahua/Beagle mix (Cheagle), is the kind of companion who makes a house feel like home. He's fully vaccinated, neutered, and heartworm negative, with preventative care already in place—so you can focus on the cuddles and joy he brings. House-trained and crate-trained, Elvis is a dream to live with. He’s gentle, quiet, and incredibly easygoing, making him a steady presence whether you're relaxing or puttering around the house. No chewing, no chaos—just calm companionship. His only quirk? Thunderstorms make him a little nervous, but don't we all have our soft spots? He’s absolutely wonderful with people, greeting everyone with kindness and trust. Elvis would thrive in a peaceful home with a fenced yard where he can enjoy sunshine and soft grass between his paws. He’s more than adorable—he’s a gentle spirit looking for his forever home We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. Your current or past dogs must be inside dogs who have been spayed/neutered and are on heartworm prevention. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.
