My story

Luna is a one-year-old Pittie mix with a heart as big as her 58-pound frame. Friendly, outgoing, and full of joy, Luna is the kind of dog who makes everyone around her smile. She’s spent her whole life with another dog, so she’d thrive in a home with a playful canine companion—but she might do okay as your one and only, so long as she gets the attention, exercise, and love she craves. Luna adores people, especially kids, and has a wonderfully affectionate nature. She loves to curl up next to you—or next to your dog if they beat her to the spot. She enjoys walks, fetch, chew toys, and bones, and while she’s always ready for playtime, she’s just as happy entertaining herself or settling in for a good nap. She’s house-trained and crate-trained, but these days she’s earned the right to sleep wherever she pleases. This sweet, adaptable girl is quiet and loyal, but she’s also strong on leash, so someone confident and comfortable handling a powerful pup will be important. A fenced yard would be a big plus, giving her the freedom to safely enjoy some off-leash time. With her playful spirit and loving nature, Luna is ready to bring happiness to a family of her own. Her minimum adoption fee is $200 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
