My story

HOW TO ADOPT: This cat is participating in our Shelter Cat Getaway foster program, which gives cats a vacation from the shelter and lets them enjoy home life while they wait to be adopted. To schedule a time to meet this cat, please contact Mary at mmccarroll@arl-iowa.org or Carol at cgriglione@arl-iowa.org.---- Sweet, shy cat who will need time to settle into his new home- Likes attention and playing with his sparkle balls- Is a big snuggler with is foster family when it's time for bed- Did well with another cat in his previous home after a slow introduction- Needs a home without dogs- Young, busy children are not a good fit for him, so he is looking for a more mature home where it is calm and predictable- Looking for a home with patient family members who will give him time to open up and let him take things at his own pace. He does best when he starts out in his own room and is slowly introduced to the rest of the house and other pets over a few weeks- Has a lot of love to give and will be a wonderful companion for a quiet person or two who will allow him to settle in at his own slow pace. He is worth the wait! All adoptable cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations (rabies and FVRCP as appropriate for their age) Primary Color: White Secondary Color: Orange Weight: 12.9 Age: 2yrs 3mths 1wks
