Meet Prada – the Sweetheart in Training 📍 Located in Decatur, IL 💻 Applications at leiashope.org Prada is doing so well in her foster home and continues to blossom with time, patience, and the guidance of her foster siblings. She now comes inside the house without hesitation, greets her people (even her foster dad!), and cuddles up at night. She adores toys, seeks out belly rubs, and is always ready to play with the other dogs. Her foster says it best: she’s just so sweet! Prada is a former puppy mill dog and still working through some insecurities. She is on daily anxiety medication, which may be reduced or weaned off once she’s settled in a secure, understanding home. While she remains cautious inside the home, especially with new people, her personality shines in the yard where she runs, plays, and shows her joyful side. Because of her background, Prada needs a home with: A secure physical fenced yard A confident canine companion or a family experienced with mill dogs She is considered a flight risk and cannot be safely contained without a physical fence. 🐾 Prada is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and on monthly heartworm/flea prevention. 💲 Adoption fee: $400 📝 Please Note: We are a volunteer-run rescue. Application processing takes 7–10 business days. Approved application required before meet and greets. We do adopt out of area but do not ship or provide transport. Adopters must travel to meet the dog, and all household members (humans and dogs) must be present. Dogs are a lifetime commitment—please apply only if you are ready to dedicate yourself to their full lifespan.
