My story

Meet Appa!!!Appa is an adorable 9-month-old teenage pup who’s growing into a smart, sensitive young dog. He has a sweet personality and is learning about the world at his own pace. While he may need a little extra time to feel comfortable around new dog friends, he’s worth the patience and love.Appa would do best with a respectful canine companion—one who understands personal space and gives him time to warm up. Slow introductions and monitored interactions with any resident dogs are recommended to help him feel safe and confident.Appa is still learning about the world and working on his manners, so he’s looking for a family who can help guide him with patience and positive reinforcement. He has a strong sense of what’s his (especially when it comes to toys and treats), so he’d do best in a home where he doesn’t have to share those special items.Because of his preferences and ongoing training, we recommend Appa go to a home without young children.
