My story

Matilda (10 years old) Matilda is a gentle soul who came with her friend Orlando after their home was destroyed in the tornado earlier this summer. The two of them must be adopted together, because they have spent a lifetime together. Both have had their lives abruptly changed due to the tornado, and it has taken them a while to recover. Matilda has some lovely tabby markings on her white coat, which is getting softer by the day. Now that she's settled into the shelter and taken some time to recover from the trauma of the storm, she is rested up and looks better than ever. She enjoys being petted and told that she is beautiful. She's delightful when she rolls onto her back next to you, purrs, and shows all four white feet with their little black toe beans. As a senior kitty, Matilda also loves to sleep long hours in cozy beds, so any new home must have plenty of comfortable napping stations. Please stop in to see if the sweet duo of Matilda and Orlando might make your house even more peaceful; in return they will give you calm love and affection.
