Louie, the Love Bug: A Plain Brown Dog with the Biggest Heart Louie is living proof that you should never judge a book by its cover. He’s a plain brown dog, no fancy markings or big-deal breed name, but he is anything but ordinary. Louie is around three years old and the perfect size—he’s got these charming, stubby legs and a happy grin that's always on display. He loves a good game of tug-of-war and will chase a ball with everything he's got. But his favorite thing in the world? Sitting right next to you. And when you sit down, he's a total lap dog, melting into you like he’s finally home. This sweet boy is a gentleman around other dogs and isn’t bothered by cats. He’s the perfect mix of fun and chill—always up for a walk or a game and just as happy to snuggle up o next to you. Louie found his way to our yard and it was clear he’d been fending for himself. But even though life was tough, you can tell someone showed him kindness along the way, because he knows how to give love back in a big way. He's that rare dog who keeps you smiling with his goofy antics, then lays his head on your lap like it’s the best place in the world. He isn’t trying to be the center of attention—he just wants to belong to a family. He deserves a person who’ll love him as big as the love he has to give.
