My story

At 3 years old, Sunny is the definition of a lovebug. With his soft fur and soulful eyes, this handsome boy is guaranteed to brighten your day. His favorite spot? Curled up in the crook of your arm, purring away during a cozy nap. He’s also a little shadow who loves to chat and follow his humans from room to room—always ready to offer company and conversation. Sunny’s journey hasn’t been easy—he came to us with wounds from surviving on the streets. Now he’s fully healed and ready to start a new chapter in a forever home. He gets along well with dogs, even big ones, but would thrive best as the only feline in the house. All adoptable cats have received: Spay/neuter surgery Distemper vaccine Rabies vaccine (if over 16 weeks old) De-wormer and flea prevention medication Veterinary exam Test for FIV and FeLV Microchip ADOPTION PROCESS 1. Review our adoption contract and application. 2. Call your vet and references to inform them that a rescue representative will be calling. 3. Submit an application, including the cat's name that you are interested in or description of what you are looking for. If approved, you will be introduced to the foster to schedule a meeting within 5 days. Guidelines for the meeting are: - Bring a carrier and be prepared to take the animal home directly from the meeting. - Please be prepared to submit the adoption fee via electronic payment at the meeting. - If all goes well, the cat will go home with you directly after the meeting. If you are not ready to adopt at the conclusion of the meeting, please understand that we may process other applications for the cat. Because we have a limited number of foster homes, we cannot hold cats past adoption. 6.
