My story

This cutie is Whisper, an almost 10-year-old Rat Terrier mix who weighs 17.8 pounds. Whisper is a lower-energy girl who is house-trained and tolerates her crate. She’d much prefer roaming the house. She sleeps wherever she wants at night, just not in her foster mom's room.   Whisper likes playing with other small dogs, going for short walks, or just hanging out in the house. She loves sitting in her special person's lap. Although Whisper hasn’t  been exposed to children in her foster home, she’d likely do well with older children who are calm and respectful. Her minimum adoption fee is $200 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
