My story

Meet Butters — yes, like the South Park character, and yes, he’s just as sweet and just as confused by the world around him. Butters is a handsome adult Persian who recently entered our rescue looking more like a throw pillow that had been through a tornado. He was severely matted and had to be shaved down to the floof-nubbins for his own comfort and health. Don’t worry — his majestic coat will return, and he will once again resemble a glamorous cat from a shampoo commercial. Until then, he’s rocking the “freshly-sheared sheep meets runway model” look with full confidence. Despite all he’s been through, Butters is an absolute lovebug. He’s sweet, snuggly, and very forgiving about the betrayal of the clippers. Butters' adoption fee has been set to reflect the care we've put into him, and so we can help ensure he goes to a home that’s fully prepared for the unique grooming and care needs that come with a fancy cat like him. He has gotten all of his medical needs covered including his neuter, vaccinations, microchip, dewormer, flea prevention, and FeLV/FIV test (he's negative for both).
