My story

Rougarou A17673136 lb. neutered male, approx 1 year old -Very active and loves romping around!-He loves chasing tennis balls and playing fetch. He even started to pick up on “drop it“.-He loves toys, especially stuffies that squeak-He will lay down and chew on a toy for quite a while. He can self entertain.-He also loves to be in your lap for pets and snuggles-He is also treat motivated, starting to figure out “sit” and takes them nicely-Good mix of playful and chill!-Walks decent on a leash just need some fine-tuning as he bounces around a bit-Will need some puppy training. Please keep that in mind if you want a puppy. They require time and patience to be the best that they can be! -Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids•Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30 **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
