My story

Hey there, future best friend! My name’s Penny, and I’m just the sweetest little Coonhound gal you ever did meet! At 44 pounds, I’m the perfect size—not too big, not too small, just right for hugs and couch snuggles. I'm all caught up on vaccines, spayed, heartworm negative, and ready to find my forever home. You know, I'm what you'd call a “social butterfly.” I get along great with other dogs and even tested well with the kiddos (ages 10 and 12). Cats? No worries—I'm cool with them, too. Playgroups at the rescue are my favorite because I get to romp, sniff, and wag with all my doggie pals! But my absolute favorite thing? Snuggling up close and getting lots of pets and cuddles. I promise if you give me a warm bed and a loving home, I'll give you my heart and all the tail wags I can muster! Whaddya say? Wanna be my forever cuddle buddy?
