My story

Leonard is a sweet older gentleman who came to us in rough shape after living outdoors for quite some time. He arrived with healing wounds and signs of a tough life on the streets—but now he’s safe, recovering well, and finally getting the care he deserves.Despite everything he’s been through, Leonard has been incredibly affectionate with us. He can be a little shy at first and is still adjusting to life at the rescue, but he’s already showing just how gentle and loving he truly is. He’s also been very patient and seems to get along well with other cats.Leonard is FIV+, which simply means his immune system is a little more fragile than other cats—but it doesn’t stop him from living a happy, full life. FIV+ cats can live long, healthy lives and coexist peacefully with other cats, especially in stable, low-stress environments.Leonard is a special soul looking for a calm, caring home where he can truly relax and feel safe.
