My story

** $20 in pledges for the rescue that pulls ** Ms Pudding found herself at ACCT by way of being a stray, after following someone near a bagel shop (who can blame her!). Her finders noted that she was very sweet with them, and she enjoyed lots of pets before being picked up by at ACCT officer. Once at the shelter, her sweet nature didn't change, and she even impressed staff with her knowledge of sit and paw. When staff took her for a morning walk, she walked by their side and came when called in the play yard, eager to please. She also met another canine resident, and she did not show much interest in them. She's going to make someone very happy with her eager to please and friendly demeanor! Come meet her at ACCT Philly, open daily from 10 am to 6 pm VIDEO Ms Pudding with her paw: https://youtube.com/shorts/U1MFboF9qho?feature=shared Ms Pudding is so smart: https://youtube.com/shorts/XIav-nbZJFI?feature=shared Ms. Pudding Paw & Down: https://youtube.com/shorts/7l1KF2E4aeI?si=7pmP8gv8vX85Fe8C Ms. Pudding gets belly rubs: https://youtube.com/shorts/5QKw0kEX1-4?si=gnJw2d6sKTx5O2pq Fence meet with Mace https://youtu.be/Yxk4CdomQ9s?si=DLPeqZhlPA8fxQif BEHAVIOR Volunteer notes 8/10 Ms Pudding was laying on her bed when I walked by and said hello. She had not been out in 2 days so I circled back & this time she was standing in front of her kennel. She took treats nicely and leashed easily & we headed outside with a moderate pace. While on our walk, Ms Pudding was a straight and relaxed walker. The leash actually had slack at times and she was only one body length in front of me most of the time. During our walk, I stopped and sat on the curb & Ms Pudding approached me with an open mouth and relaxed body for pets and treats. I stroked her slowly since the walksheet said she was hand shy but she did now flinch or react negatively to my touch. Back at the shelter and in the run, Ms Pudding came over and placed her front paws in my lap after she explored the run. She was relaxed for more pets and showed off her knowledge of sit, paw, & down commands. She was very gentle taking treats. We walked back through the kennels with no reactivity to dogs or noise. She stepped into her kennel on her own and no issues with over the head leash removal. So impressed with Ms Pudding. 8/10 behavioral eval: Kennel Presentation:Ms Pudding had a thumping wagging tail and soft eyes on her bed. she came right up and was super easy to leash. once secured she came right out with a super wiggly boss and its of tail wags. Leash Skills: pulls minimally Sociability: Pudding was very submissive outside, dropping herself down in front of me with a wiggling body and soft eyes. she was super friendly as another staff member came in to take photos of her. she knows sit, paw, down and roll over. she took treats very gently and was a super playful and affectionate pup. Play: engaged in play Dog Interaction:n/a Return to Kennel: she walked right back into her kennel Color Level:green 08/07/2025 staff notes, playgroup: Steerable with water, timid, playful with Roma, chase, push/pull, zoomies 08/04/2025 staff notes: 6:30pm ms pudding is very friendly, immediately rolled over with a slapping happy tail as we approached her on scene, allowed leashing and handling with zero issue, allowed us to pick her up and place her in truck.
