My story

Hi, I’m Lucy! I may have had a rough start—I was found inside a trash can as a tiny, hungry baby—but I haven’t let that stop me from becoming the energetic, playful, and smart pup I am today. I love to run, splash around in water, and play with other dogs. I’m looking for a forever home with a big yard, other dog friends, and an active family that loves outdoor adventures. I already know how to sit, and I’m eager to learn more! I’m not the right match for a quiet household or for someone who doesn’t have space for me to run and play. I deserve a loving home where I’m treated like family and given the chance to live my best life. I’ve come a long way—and now, I’m ready for my second chance to be someone’s loyal companion.This dog is currently in foster care in La Paz, Mexico, but will be transported upon adoption or foster placement. As a U.S. nonprofit, Hope 4 La Pawz, handles all logistics and provides full behavioral and medical info in advance.
