Hey Everyone! My name is Daisy, and I’m about 70 pounds of pure sunshine wrapped in fur! I’m a happy-go-lucky girl who gets so excited when I meet new people that my whole body does a little wiggle dance. I’m fully potty trained—no accidents here! And I’m pretty good in my kennel, too. Sure, I might throw a tiny protest party for about 10 minutes, but then I remind myself, “Hey, my foster will be back soon!” My foster thinks I’m super awesome and calls me a pretty girl all the time (I’m blushing!).I’m still working on my basic commands, but trust me, I’m a smart cookie and have total faith that I’ll nail them all soon. Some of my favorite things? Playing with my foster and the kids! I adore kids so much that sometimes I get a little too excited and accidentally knock them over—oops! I’m working hard on my manners because I just want to cover their faces with kisses. When I’m not busy being a kid magnet, I love playing fetch. And guess what? I even bring the ball back so you can throw it again and again—talk about dedication!I’m looking for the perfect family to join—kids 6 and up, because, well, I’m a big happy girl! I want a family that will keep helping me grow and learn, because I didn’t have the best start in life, but I have so much love to give. I promise to bring sunshine, fun, and maybe a little chaos (the good kind!) to your home.I can’t wait to meet you and make you fall in love with me just like my foster did!Paws and kisses,Daisy***FOSTER TO ADOPT***Daisy is heartworm positive and is currently going through treatment. Once her treatment is complete, the adoption can be finalized and it is the responsibility of the adoptive family to get a microfilaria test 30 days after treatment for a preliminary result. Then, a heartworm test 9 months after treatment for final results. It is recommended that she continues getting tested for heartworm annually. During these months, you will need to make sure her heart rate is not elevated due to high energy play or exercise until she receives a negative microfilaria test. Daisy will also need continued use of monthly heartworm preventives going forward. This will all be covered by Warrior Dog until her last injection. Any other medical needs will be the responsibility of the adopter--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $400To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Daisy - Foster to Adopt, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
